Our Services Include:

Elderly Catheter Care

If a person has a condition that prevents the bladder from being emptied in the traditional way, a urinary catheter can be utilised. This is a flexible tube that is inserted into the bladder either through the urethra, or through an opening made in the lower abdomen. This allows urine to be drained from the bladder as often as necessary.

Elderly Lupus Care

Lupus is a long-term condition that causes joint pain, skin rashes and tiredness. It’s an inflammatory condition that develops when the immune system attacks its tissues and organs. Unfortunately, there is no cure, but the symptoms can be managed with treatment. Symptoms can include muscle and joint pain, extreme tiredness, rashes and more.

Diabetes Care

Diabetes is a condition where your blood glucose or sugar levels are too high. There are two main types of diabetes – type 1 and type 2 – and some rarer forms of the condition too. Glucose is essential for our energy levels and is produced from the breakdown of foods in our digestive system, which then enters our blood stream.

COPD Care

COPD is a chronic condition that restricts airflow into the lungs. This can be debilitating for some people and can prevent them from living their life as they would otherwise want to. Despite there being no cure for COPD, lifestyle changes can make a difference to the condition and how much it interferes with daily life.

Frail Care

Frailty can be complex and fluctuating; identifying someone as frail is not always easy and will require the skills of an experienced clinician. Frailty may be tested in a variety of ways, to best try and identify how someone needs support. These tests may be done in hospital, a care home or the person’s own home.

Mobility Care

Mobility Care is for anyone who is living with reduced mobility and may need some assistance in completing day-to-day tasks on their own. Perhaps you’re using a wheelchair or remain in bed while you’re recovering from a fall or an illness, or you’re living with a neurological or joint condition?

Arthritis care

Living with arthritis can sometimes be quite a hindrance to your independence – especially when you are going through an arthritis flare-up. But that doesn’t mean that you or your loved one has to forego any of your home comforts to accommodate your condition. With arthritis care at home, we’ll be there to provide bespoke person-centred support that is available whenever you need it. Contact us today.

Down’s Syndrome Care

Down’s syndrome is caused when there is an extra chromosome in a person’s cells – so instead of having 46 they have 47, or one chromosome may have an extra part. This occurs with chromosome 21 specifically. Down’s syndrome is not inherited and happens as a result of a genetic change in the sperm or egg at conception. There is a link between the occurrence of the condition as a woman’s age increases.

Cerebral Palsy Care

If you live with one of the many types of cerebral palsy, you can still live a fulfilling and independent life, with specialist support to help you when you need it, comfortably and in the way you want to. With cerebral palsy care at home, we provide day-to-day support so you can keep your independence. By choosing us for your home care, we create a custom-made care plan completely based upon your needs and requirements.

Elderly Skin Conditions

Awareness of skin conditions is essential, especially among older adults. As we age, our skin goes through many changes, and you may even notice your skin becoming thin, losing elasticity and moisture. Health in Aging states that with age, the skin “bruises easily and can take a long time to heal when cut.” This can also be due to a weakened immune system. Common skin conditions among older adults include dryness and itching, bruising, shingles, skin tags, pressure injuries and bruises. Read on for tips on how we care for elderly skin conditions.

Alzheimer’s Care

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, affecting more than half a million people a week in the UK alone, and the one that we’re asked to support with the most. It is a progressive condition, leaving the people and families affected needing extra help and care. At Divine Healthcare Solutions Limited, we believe in and see the benefits of allowing someone with Alzheimer’s to remain in their own home. The continuity of routine, familiarity of environment and one to one attention from a specialist dementia carer can make a huge difference to quality of life.

Mental Health Care

Being diagnosed with a mental illness can be life changing, but doesn’t necessarily mean loss of independence. We understand mental illness can affect people in different ways, each bringing their own unique challenges, but with a fully trained and dedicated live-in carer, Divine Healthcare Solutions Limited make it possible for you or your loved one to live as independently as possible. We take the emotional well-being and dignity of the people we care for extremely seriously. By supporting people to live in their own home, we often see a positive impact on self-confidence.
